Terms of Service
The basic rules for using the Lim iOS app and its optional integrations.
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Lim helps organize personal plans, notes, tasks, and calendars. You remain responsible for reviewing important information and requested changes.
1. The service
Lim is a conversational daily planner and personal assistant offered by the developer identified for Lim in the App Store, operating under the Generative Synesthesia developer brand. Optional features and integrations may vary by account, region, device, provider availability, and subscription.
2. Your account
Keep access to your Apple, Google, and Lim accounts secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for providing accurate information when support is needed.
3. Calendar and assistant actions
Calendar access is optional. Lim performs calendar actions only within the permissions granted by you and the connected provider. Review dates, times, recipients, reminders, and other important details before relying on an assistant response or requested action.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Lim to break the law, harm others, bypass security controls, disrupt the service, or gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
5. Availability
The service is continuously improved. We may correct, change, suspend, or discontinue features when needed for security, reliability, provider requirements, or product development.
6. Privacy
Use of personal information is described in the Lim Privacy Policy. Lim uses narrowly scoped Mixpanel analytics by default to understand onboarding and screen flow; it does not send content, onboarding answers, account identity, purchases or advertising identifiers. Optional Google Calendar access is governed by the permissions you approve and can be disconnected from Lim or revoked from your Google Account.
7. Disclaimers and responsibility
Lim may produce incomplete or incorrect suggestions. It is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or emergency advice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Lim changes. When required, we will provide notice or request renewed acceptance. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by applicable law. It does not grant or renew permission to share data with AI providers; that requires the explicit choice described in the app. Questions can be sent to pull.notifications.app@gmail.com.
9. Subscriptions and payment
Lim Pro offers monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions through the App Store. The purchase screen displays the price in your store currency, billing period, total charge, and any eligible trial. Annual subscriptions are charged as a single annual payment; a monthly equivalent is only a comparison. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm, or when an eligible trial ends.
10. Trials, renewal and cancellation
A free trial is available only when the App Store confirms eligibility. After the trial, the selected subscription renews at the displayed price. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within the 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewal; access follows the period confirmed by the App Store.
11. Restoring purchases and refunds
Use Restore Purchases in Lim with the Apple Account that made the purchase and your intended Lim account. Deleting Lim or your Lim account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Refund requests are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to applicable law. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights.
12. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required in your country, and legally able to agree to these terms. If you use Lim on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
13. License and intellectual property
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Lim in accordance with these terms and Apple's usage rules. Lim, its software, design, and branding remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You keep ownership of content you provide and grant us only the rights needed to operate the service for you.
14. Suspension and termination
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, address security or payment issues, or preserve the service. You may stop using Lim at any time and can request account deletion in the app. Account deletion is described in the Privacy Policy and does not cancel an App Store subscription.
15. Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for Lim or its support, except for its role in App Store purchases, refunds, and subscription management. If these terms conflict with mandatory law or Apple's applicable minimum end-user terms, those requirements control.
16. AI features and your content
Lim uses OpenAI through its server on Supabase to answer requests, transcribe sent audio and provide requested AI features. Before that processing, the app asks your explicit permission as described in the Privacy Policy. The assistant requires this processing; this version does not offer a manual planner without AI. Accepting these terms or buying a subscription does not by itself authorize AI data sharing. You keep ownership of content you provide. AI replies may be inaccurate or similar to replies given to others; review important information and requested actions. You can withdraw AI permission through the account-wide pause described in the Privacy Policy. Pausing AI does not cancel a subscription or erase your account.
